It's been a long long time

Far too long actually. I did get a new tablet though! I paid the money and got a Wacom.

But I doubt i'll return to stardoll graphics. Creating them was a very good learning curve, and it helped me discover that I actually really do enjoy art. Even to the point where I now have my heart set on being an Animator. I may post some regular artwork, and you never know; maybe a graphic, but I feel fairly safe to say that my time creating stardoll graphics is over.

Artpad

Just thought i'd post this, it's a painting on an online programme called Artpad. It took me about 30 minutes maybe? Artpad is O.K, but i wouldn't really recommend it if you're looking to create good pieces of work. There's only really brushes and opacity to work with; and again i've still not found my tablet pen, I miss it!

No tablet graphic

still no pen! :( But i made a graphic regardless. Well; i absolutely love the pose on this one, the shading especially, but after finishing the graphic i don't really like it. It just looks amateurish, as if i've taken it from i-dressup and stuck a blurry face on it. Well you can decide which you prefer for yourself.

Considering 90% of the graphics on this blog weren't made with a tablet, it's amazing how quickly you forget how to make graphics with a laptop mouse. So there'll be no graphics for a while; maybe some ramblings.

Graphics tutorial

I decided to make another graphics tutorial for my youtube channel youlovelouise so i thought i'd post a link here. the graphic itself isn't the best, but it was done in 50 minutes, and i had to cut a lot of the video out.

A practice at poses

I've got no idea what i want to do with this graphic, but i wanted to practice drawing poses from the top of my head, because i'm awful at drawing them! This headless model has some booty on her. The hands are messed up but i've never been good at them.

New icon

I decided it was time to change my user icon from my katy perry graphic to something actually involving my medoll! Haha. This was a fairly quick graphic, but i love the dress and pose, even though the shoulders are a bit iffy. I think i got the shading on the dress spot on though :D It's obviously inspired by marilyn monroe, but i had to add my own twist to it, so i used my favourite stardoll hair colour. I do think the neck looks a bit squashed though.
